not sure Im trying to get this release, I want to see for myself whats on the cd. Even though I know I cannot login to the xbox live Beta netowork...Im just curious to mess around with it. Im should have this release downloaded in the next day or so. If I get it all and test it, I will post here what I find. If anyone else has this sparse release please post your thoughts about it.

I downloaded it, I burned it, and played the demo movie and stuff. it did not ask to install anything on the xbox hdd. I removed the cd and booted in evox with no probs.

Hold on to it. What if the Xbox Live Disc you buy at the store in November has new software installed with ms checking ips, and mod chip installs.

This is what I would do.
    1. Buy the Xbox Live pack.
    2. Take the communicator and code number.
    3. Use the Beta disc to input code number.

Just to be safe. Maybe they are implementing those security features in the retail version of Live.

Hey kipper, I dont think that is going to work because it will automatically download something (if chip protection is implemented) the first time you connect, no matter what disc you use, I mean, its gotta install the info for games that are able to play online with the XBOX, its also gotta install a small app into your xbox so you can use the HeadSet, trust me
