I just got Philips dvdrw228....... every time i try to run this i keep get an error readin' "No Compatible Recorders Have been found"????? i can't use nero to backup ps2 dvdz.. so i'm stuck with primodvd that can't find my dvd burner.. anyone else experience this problem?? or is it just me.

me too....i got a pioneer a04.
And whats more ...when i try to load a global image(in this case kingdom hearts majik release) it says ivalid global image..
any help would be appriciated..

Check for bios update for U´r burner

Check aspi drivers, if newer are available

Check for updates to the px engine ( the one primo dvd uses) important to have latest.

Try out stomp recordmax app, http://www.stompinc.com

try mounting the image into daemon to se if that can load it, then just copy the daemon device to the dvd.
