I saw this too, turned on the news and didn't see anything about it. I'm from San Diego by the way... and it was bright down here. No one knows what it was? It was bright for a while, at least 20 minutes after I noticed it.

they just shoot rockets in the air from some island in the pacific, and another rocket from the moutains, and they hit each other, just some rocket test. nothing special.

BTW, a few weeks ago, I saw some like spotlights shooting up from the ground in NY. It was freaky, wondered what the hell it was. Maybe they were shootin up the bat signal
