The plurality of Americans voted for Gore not the majority (the same case with Clinton). Although I'm not American, I'd rather have a president that can't speak english but knows how to use the military (Afghanistan) than one who is quite eloquent but is a forign affairs disaster (Bosia, Serbia). Bush sucks at prepared speaches and staged events, no doubt about it (unless of course he needs to rise to the occasion like at the debates, or last September).

No I didn't vote in the 2000 election, I was 2 years too young. But had i been eligable I would have voted for bush (wouldn't have mattered New York overwhelmingly chose Gore) since I supported his policies. And stop saying gore would have been better, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU KNOW THAT?, ok he's smarter, but doesn't mean his cabinet is and that all of his policies would have turned out for the better
