there is agood link to info on it. im prodominantly right handed, and figured why not become just as proficient with my left hand, plus i heard you learn to use mroe of your brain, thereby maybe getting smarter in some sorts.
You can do it. it's not hard as it sounds. But you need to repetatively do something for a long time.
I was born in Vietnam, and they won't allow you to use your left hand to write or hold chopsticks. Fuck that.
Now I can only write with my right hand, I pratice alot of things with my right hand and I have become quite proficient enough to be considered ambidextrous. Just do easy things over and over.
On another note, I was watchin' this documentary on PBS awhile ago and they were talkin' about raisin' your baby to be left/right handed as you please. I wont go into the long complicated details but it was pretty cool.
i think its a very cool idea...i myself could really need to make better use of my right hand...im lefthanded and my right hand is completely useless...it ha salways been useless but also two years ago i broke some bone in the right hand...and the healing and you know that "hard stuff" i had my hand in...having it inactive for a month or sumthin made the hand complelety useless...now its a little deformed and so weak i almost cant even drink from a glass with it...it really sux.
Left hand uses your right brain and right hand uses your left brain. I forgot exact funcition for each brain but i know right brain handles your imagination part.
Originally posted by krustytheclown I beat off right handed too, but sometimes I'll switch to left hand and pretend its a young chick who doesnt know what shes doin.
LOL.
That's about what it feels like...
My left hand is useless.
