for the past few days, things have not been going too well for me and i'm not exactly feeling upbeat. what do you do when you feel down and unhappy to make yourself happy again or to prevent yourself from slipping into depression? i come to isonews and read all the silly postings and laugh my ass off. or play a song on my guitar.
excercise is good, so is food. bein in the sun helps too, oh yea and make sure to exert your dominance over all the jackasses in the world. You feel much better when u realize that everyone else is just worse than you. but seriously excercise and sunlight are the best
When I thought I was depressed (can't remember, maybe I was just really bored) I enrolled in a kickboxing class. Maybe you need to manage your time better. Try something new, anything to keep your mind off of being down.
I know its harder for some people than others, but try meeting someone new. Make a new friend, it helped me out.
Note: When I really think back on it, I don't think I was really depressed. Friends screwed me over about a year ago. For a couple of days I was screwy, but I got over it. I might have been a combination of pissed off and bored.

If you feel down because of some events that recently happened then I recommend talking to someone, can be anyone from a close friend to a complete stranger on the internet can work to. Often it feels good to get it out what your dealing with. If you keep it bottled up and keep on thinking about it over and over and what to do it just keeps seeming worse and worse and you could fall deeper into depression. So I suggest talking to people and also do stuff to keep your mind off of it, play sports, excerise, play video games, get drunk. Spend as little time just thinking about your situation until your able to cope with it better.
