Are you people daft ? The EA NHL series have been absolute crap for the past two years. That brand of hockey is laughable, the only thing they get right is the presentation of the game but gameplay is the shits. Does not represent hockey, unrealistic horseshit it what it is. Sounds like most of you haven't played, watched or even know what hockey is for christ's sakes.

Buy an Xbox and wait for NHL 2k3 from Sega if you want a decent game. By all means play NHL 2003 if you want to play the childrens version. No wonder EA releases crappy hockey games year after year...they have you gullible twits to count on.

for WalkinDude, YES NHL series aren't that good, but if you have a litle of patience, you can make the game to feel realistic with all the option. Sure if you don't tutch anything it's arcade, but if you want to have hockey sim, it's possible.

Gameplay on NHL series is awersome if you want to tweek it...

I don't think so Vric, you can tweak it all you like but the underlying engine is crap, there are 3 player attributes that makes a difference ( out of like 20 ) and that is all. You can only do so much w/ the sliders as well. While you make it play marginally better.. "awesome" in not the word. Hockey is a great game and EA butchers it every year.
