who else is looking forward to this game?

it's taking a while to come out this year. it was out last year on the 19th of september. did EA push back the release date this year?

Yeah i haven't heard any buzz about it.. did they add anything noteworthy? or just new rosters and crap, i hope they add a good online mode like madden has.

I see on gonegold release date for NBA is 30th October, and NHL 11TH October.. Hoping there are new features added instead of rosters too, lets hope so

nhl 2003 already??? damn i still havent installed the nhl 2002 iso that i grabbed last yr and now a yr has gone by and another new version... time sure flies when you're getting old

lol.. the same happened to me.. actually an ex co-worker of mine burned it for me and gave me a copy of it.. (I didn't even ask).. anyhow, I have yet to install it yet.. hehe

and looking forward to 2003, any1 tied the demo i think a demo is released but i im not sure

The game is going to be released 10th of October if I'm not mistaken. The demo was fun, but it was really hard to hook. The special moves have been changed to a new interesting system and the AI actually seems to be really good. I can�t remember much about the demo though, was quite some time since I last played it. :-)

i�ve uninstalled 2002 and played the demo for the past 2 weeks(downloaded about 5 mods to be able to use different teams). and while the demo is fun, i can�t wait for the full game to come out.
puck physics and goalies are amazing this year, which makes for lots of more realistic goals.
they also got rid of the console-type interface, so it feels like a true pc-game finally.
also there�s a new feature called dynamic deke, where you can do various different moves if you got a gamepad with 2 analog dpads.

Can't wait myself for NHL 2003 and NBA Live 2003 for pc. Just remember now that their online matchmaker service which used to be free will cost $6 USD/month. The first 2 months are free when you buy the game and if you buy another game you get another 2 months free i think. But i read the matchmaker service is way better this year. You can win prizes.

You get 30days free when you buy the game, after 30days you have to pay like 5-6 dollars a month.

playing a direct connection (peer to peer) will be free, but playing EA's matchmaker won't be free after the 2 months.

Was very disappointed with the demo. I mean, if it was the first release (not the 9th version of it), then it'd be an awesome game... but as far as I can tell, 90% of the gameplay is identical. I won't be paying for it, I'll say that much.
