need a new cell phone any tips?

Im looking to buy a new cell phone cause i hate mine right now. Im look for one that is a good size, has lots of options on it, good service's and connection is good. I live in U.S. in southern cali. Price cannot be too high but im willing to dish out some money for it.

Most importantly, make sure you research the service in your area. A phone is no good, if you have crappy service. I learned that the hard way and couldn't make calls from my own home.

On my service, T-Mobile (formerly Voicestream), I've found the Nokia 33xx series is compact and has good reception, but stay away from the Nokia 8260's and 8290's...they are too fragile and the reception is sucky.

Either get a T68 like someone already mentioned, or get a more affordable V60.

Thats what I used to think, but the compareable Ericson model had twice as much memory and lotsa other bells and whistles. (got a T60)

Remember, your buying a contract.. shop around and negotiate. We found the best deal at Circuit City for a Cingular plan. (Cingular has the best coverage/service in my area.) They had a much better deal than the folks at the mall. When we went back to them to get a counter offer, they could only say, "they are giving you a special deal that is long over, so take it!". After talking to them for a while, they even tossed in free web browsing. Do your homework!

get the v.60 motorola, its a nice sleek phone, good features, the new one has games and new colors. it works fine with verizon, very good actually... look at verizon, they have the biggest networks

I just bought the Motorola T720 from Verizon. All I have to say is after my many years of having a cell phone this tops the charts...

make sure it works in your own home!!! its really fucken annoying with my current phone because i have to keep calling people back with my home phone after they try to get to me on my cell
