Default Problem With Unreal Editor 3.0 (Not a request on how to use it!)

When i open this program, the screen goes brighter, as if the gamma increase. Does anyone know the answer? Thanks.

I think it's some strange by-product of nVidia's Digital-Vibrance control. I know what you mean though, any time OpenGL initializes on my comp and I alt-tab to another program (or to the desktopk, etc), I notice the brightness change also.

i'd guess that since the unreal editor loads up the game engine, the brighter gamma that is default is also set... so lower the game gamma level... that should work.

is the editor running at a different bitrate to your desktop?
that happened to me in ut and ut2003 when i ran the game at 16bit
