but the crack ,first I started the game with crack.exe but when I wanted to start a game crash while loading
then I renamed the crack nhl2003.exe and changed the original exe withe the cracked one but it still crashes when I start a game and the loading window appears
any sollutions?
changnoy : do you have Windows Media player 9 .... If its the case , try this :
go into the the main folder -> folder fe -> folder nhl -> folder html -> delete the file demo_intro.html -> copy and paste the file demo_title.html -> rename the 2nd demo_title to demo_intro.html ... thats all. the only thing which will not work now is the f*****g intro. i hope it has helped you.
thx m8,I just figured it out and I guess it was my own stupid fault,when you do not change the video options the game starts in 640x480 and my pc blocks on that

When I run it, my Norton antivirus appeared and wanted me to block it. Here is my log:

But when I tryed just to scan this file nothing was found. So wtf is this?

I dont trust Razor for the last 2 day..
its because those morons named it Crack.exe that norton picks it up, it was discussed on #nhl2003.

Slow speed in game
Is anyone having trouble with the game speed? My version is as slow as the god old Wayne Gretzky Hockey League Simulator for the Amiga => Mega slow!
The game speed option is set to maximum and I put all the graphic detail sliders to zero, resolution to 640x480, but still no speed of the game...

Problem
I just installed the razor version of nhl 2003 and tried to play it with the gimpsrus no cd patch but all it says is "please run the game from the cd rom".I also tried playing it using daemon tools but i get the same message.I tried the crack that came with it and renamed it to nhl2003.exe,same thing.I had some body burn a copy for me but i think it wasnt burned right cuz i get an error when i firdt try to start the game with the cd "missing .dll file".The file i got was 720 megs,I also seen one that is 742 what is the difference between the two?(both by razor)Any help would be much appreciated.

i installed it and it worked perfectly untill it crashed without warning in the second period, have anyone actually played a FULL game as of yet? by full game i mean all 3 periods cause mine seem not wanting to...
and its the most weird times it crashes...
1st crash was 2 mins into the 2nd period
2nd crash was in the intermission between periods
3rd crash 7 mins into 2nd period.
then i gave up....
but i did notice that its the same kinda crash WHAM back to the desktop..
one other thing i noticed was that my CPU temp was 70' Celsius isnt that kinda high??

Game keeps freezing
I've got a strange problem. The game keeps freezing on me. Sometimes I can complete a match, but most of the time the game simply freezes during the first two periods. Very frustrating. The last thing I hear is a small screech of static, then I have to reset the system.
My configuration:
ECS K7S5A motherboard with 378Mb PC-133 RAM
Athlon 1000Mhz (133)
Windows XP Professional
Asus V7700 Pro video card
AC97 sound chip on the mobo (took out my SB live to eliminate the problem, no luck yet)
No other freezing, except very rarely if I watch movies with Media Player for a long time. I'm using Razor's crack, so I might want to try the Gimpsrus crack in case that helps. Anyone got a tip?
tv out display issue
hey guys maybe someone knows a fix for this?
i have a radeon 64 ddr and works great no problems with nhl!
except, when i go to put it on the tv to play which is awesome to do and i have done it all the time for nhl 2002
the screen resolution of the game is bigger than my tv display.
the tv out will do 800x600 and i usually keep that setting for the game as well, i have about 7 other games on my system and they all work fine (regular full tv screen size)
but nhl 2003 is messed up and larger than my display, i can actually drag the mouse and the screen will scroll which i havent seen before either.
cant seem to find a way to make an adjustment to correct this----anyone with a radeon try the tv out with this game?
did it work? or does anyone have any ideas for a solution?

guys Here is the fix if you get a black screen at startup with the media player toolbar at bottom ...
This registers the Windows Media Player ActiveX Control. Go to Start --> Run and type in REGSVR32 msdxm.ocx.
If there are any issues with this, you can unregister the control this by going to Start --> Run and typing in REGSVR32 /u msdxm.ocx
mine works perfect except the norton thingie..
just choose run once and it works fine

i am very dissapointed in this p.o.s., this one of the games i was looking forward to..guess i am going to buy NHL2k3 for cube.
Runs choppy on
1024x800,800x600 Full detail, AAx4 on or off.. Control took step backwards.. graphics are the same.. When changing lines on the fly the game is unplayble...the menus is utter shit..rosters arent update at all, ie Fleury with Sharks (not a biggie)..and other things.. lets just pray Live, Thunder & Fifa are at least smoothly playable..
