I have a problem that I cant seem to fix. It was the same with the demo. When I start the game I get a screen that looks like windows mediaplayer in fullscreen. Then nothing more happens. Can someone please help me out. I cant be the only one with this problem. Or am I...
you must have installed Windows Media Player 9 Beta, Its a known problem..I had the same as well, and it took the nitty gritty to get WMP 9 Uninstalled (somewhat), I didnt even get it fully uninstalled and now my WMP 8 is kinda screwed up, doesnt play movies correctly unless I drop the file into the window and other stuff. So my best advice, either format your drive or reinstall windows, or wait for a fix to either come out on EA's or MS's part.
I thought that might be the problem. Any advice on how to get Mediaplayer 9 beta off my system without formatting?
Add/remove software.. Windows Media Player 9 beta is there.
then install Windows Media player lastest version (8.xx)

I am getting a problem when trying to load the game also when I try i get a white screen that pops up then i get kicked back into windows with no error and I am not using WMP9 , anyone
have u tried to rename the crack razor included in the rls
cause when u open raxor1911 dir on the cd its named crack.exe
rename it to nhl2003.exe
then it should work
Arghhh... I dont think highly about Microsoft at the moment. Cant resore the computer to a point that gets rid of the mediaplayer BETA and I cant get it away any other way. Do I have to format my computer?

Yeap same prob here too.Win Media Player locking up on launch,with renaming crack to nhl2003.Either way its a no go.I have installed SP1 and and I dont see it in options to remove it.Life is bad.......

Well I came home late and to my suprise NHL is released. woohooo..then I remembered the demo didn't work because of my stupid wmp9 beta, i went to the nhl 2003 message board site and look what I found:
'Hi@all. i can solve your windows media player 9 problems: well, first of all go into the the main folder -> folder fe -> folder nhl -> folder html -> delete the file demo_intro.html -> copy and paste the file demo_title.html -> rename the 2nd demo_title to demo_intro.html ... thats all. the only thing which will not work now is the f*****g intro. i hope it has helped you. *mikro112*'
