100Fps that's nice...

i am getting 75Fps when i start the race but when i see all Players in front of me and some nice world Texture details it will go down to 30Fps or so,

and this is in 1024*768 16Bit and almost all Gfx settings on top! but world detail is on 75% one setting down

My system 1733Mhz 512Ddr winxp GF4 TI4200 with 30.82 Driver.
the fps is okay, but not great....

but the Gfx on all Cars is just amazing very nice Gfx...

My conclusion so far :

-Steep but existant learning curve .

- Handling is great . Will take some getting used to but it`s closer to reality and allows for some impressive stuff. A wheel does make sense here but it`s still playable with the keyboard .

-Collisions aren`t that realistic but what the heck ..I don`t like to race with cops anyway .

-The cops are a mere annoyance , I get stopped once every 50 races (been playing for a couple of hours and got caught once).

-The Chopter is fucking gay . I hate those damn barrels , totally unrealistic and totally unnecessary . They add a factor of luck into the game .

-Can`t get my time under 2:19

-The grafix are beyond critisism really ....

-Music ( I always turn it off anyway)

-Sound . The 360 engine sounds exactly as it`s supposed to .

*Conclusion : If it wasn`t for the gay barrels , I`d say my life is over for the next couple of weeks (till the final is out) . I might get tired because of the barrels though .

@Fonias: You can turn off the Police in the real game. And there also will be car camage...

yes the "barrels" are dumb, but how is it luck? you should outrun the copter, or at least be able to avoid the "barrels"(i think they're bombs...)

yea the barrels make it more of an arcade game when nfs has always been a simulation (well, if driving 200mph down the countryside can count as a sim but you get the idea)
