You have been selected out of thousands of qualified applicants to participate
in the Command & Conquer� Generals Multiplayer Test Program or GMTP. After
reviewing your application and dossier, we have accepted you into the program
with a rank of General due to your qualifications. Your dedication to this
voluntary program will help us achieve our objective and is greatly appreciated.

A few days before Operation: Multiplayer Test goes live, you will receive
another email document that contains your official orders along with passwords
to the restricted GMPT information upload site. Be sure to stay briefed on the
upcoming mission by visiting the official Generals website
http://generals.ea.com/ often. The email document will also explain what we
expect from you as a member of the GMTP, how to exchange feedback with the upper
brass, and tips on conducting detailed field reports.

Gets sent in the mail, it starts on Friday. I assume they'll sent it soon, hopefully they'll have a download too. Would be easier.

me too.. they must not have been too strict. ascully, you obviously arent going to be a very good tester if you didnt even read your email.

they probably started the seletion by throwing out anyone who picked "i dont know" for any of the hardware questions, and took high, middle, and lower end pc's to participate.

I guess those weren't good enough qualifications for them...they probably will end up picking a bunch of n00bs like they always do, rather than people willing to put forth the effort.

Got in too, almost deleted it, thought it was spam. I was like Commanding General? WTF is this crap now.

Nah you just got unlucky, though i've tested Everquest phase 1 onward, Asherons call, asherons call2, DAoC, Anarchy online, shadowbane, earth and beyond, EVE online, arcanum and a couple others so it's not all gnoobs either.

Someone copy this thread and tell them what site this ( and what kind......U know what I mean) is and then EA will see what kind of players they have for there test! Personally I congratulate anyone who has nothing to do with EA, its a Microsoft owned company and they suck my ####
Wiat till U bleed for them and they act like they dont know you and if U dont believe me ask the thousands that got screwed after years of Beta testing and the pay players that got screwed without refunds when they cancelled Air Warrior3 and Battletech.......... U should all stiff them! seriously!

You are right.. it's always the noobs.. the only closed beta i ever got in was Shining Lore Online.. which hasn't even started yet.. I got in AT the end of Auguest. and they keep pushign the closed beta.. argh.. still pissing me off..
