Thanks, found it.
Still can't find the explosives in the basement.
There's only 1 bathroom and also checked all the lockers.
or do I need to be on other floors to find the explosives?

I'm stuck in the underwater base level thingy, but my problem isn't the manual. I'm supposed to be looking for that Scottish guy in a super-soldier pod or something, but I can't get past 2 voice-activated doors, and I have no idea how to get past them. Any help would be much appreciated.

there's a recorder in one of the bedrooms, has the voice of one of the scientists on it, u can use that to get passed that door

sorry i meant that it's outside by the tank. That is where you'll find the explosive. Soo look for the lockers in the building across the road from the mess hall near that tank.

On the 2nd part of level 1 where you have to meet that guy (near the 3 coloured letterboxes), near where you find the note which tells you where the meeting is to take place, I found what seems to be a "scope" for the crossbow.

Problem is, what does it do? I cant make it zoom or anything or is it not supposed to give you a zoom facility even though its a "scope"?

I think they drop down the sirium in some boxes with parachutes. Remember you first have to shoot the super soldiers with an other weapon so that they can�t move for a while (it�s coming smoke from them)...then hurry and shoot the soldier with one shoot of the pistol loaded with the sirium ammo, then move back and watch the Soldier explode. It�s 8 Soldiers so have some fun.

Great Game by the way, but I personally liked the first game better. I believed it had som more sick humour than this one.

ok after finding the zoom key (heh i never looked in that part of the key configs, thought it was keys for keyboard llamas

), i noticed that sometimes the keys goto "unassigned" for random things, forwards/fire/change ammo etc but yet they still work.

anyone else come across this?

Hmm, can't activate the statue of the director in the underwater base... what am I doing wrong? (Heard something about lights or something, dunno what to do with it)

you cant activate it until you're trying to excape the exploding base. and then you should just be able to walk up to it and use it.

Hi guys,

I got a question concerning the screen refreshing rate of NOLF 2. Is there any way to get it above the default setting of 60 Hz? The game itself doesn't seem to have an option to adjust it.

Now I've just upgraded my OS from Win98 SE (best OS ever *g*) to Win2k and I haven't figued out how to set some kind of default display frequency for all my games so any help would be appreciated.

Playing with the display setting in windows didn't help at all and that nvidia tab in the extended display menu (got a geforce 2) wasn't very helpful either.

Could anybody plz help me out, my eyes are already starting to hurt

Make sure you have the drivers for your monitor installed (not the standard windows driver).
Then use Refresh Force to fix the refresh rate.

In the first Ohio mission, in that house, after I get all the taper and evidence, how do I exit the house? The basement door I came in doesn't open anymore.

Go to the top floor, theres an open window in one of the rooms, exit through there

in one room upstairs... the one you have to enter through another room it looks empty. Go through the window there.

when you go up the stairs make a left on the end of the hall the last room on the right. They should be in there in the desk on the far side of the room where you come in.
