The .exe can contain crack/hack protection that has NOTHING to do with Securom - As an example,
CRC verifying is a classic one; simply put, the .exe "checks himself" for the original data structure and refuses to work if it doesn´t match - so instead of simply disabling some instructions to bypass Securom, you gotta ALSO change this self-checking instructions. This can go a long way and make life hell for crackers ( and for us heheh)
But then again, in such a case I have two words for groups ... ""Clone"" and "CD" . Clone the damn thing and release it damn it! Ppl without ccd-compatible burners can Daemon-Tools the image anyway
