How exactly have they "done enough"? The fact that they released the game basically doesn't mean shit since no one can play it...so no, they haven't "done enough", because they havent DONE ANYTHING.

Well, maybe if you had specified a little better what you meant then you wouldn't get on here and make yourself look like an idiot. Because the thread was on Hitman 2, I made the wild assumption that we were primarily talking about Hitman 2 here.

Yes, they have done much in the past for us, and I thank them for that.
Yes, they are overall a good group, and this is not the way they usually work.
But yes, they did drop the ball on this release, and for some reason they can't pick it back up.

If I recall correctly, the original Hitman ISO was very hard to crack as well, and the group that released it (fairlight) couldn't even do it without completely replacing the .exe on the ISO release because everything was so dependent on everything else. I think the IO's Hitman engine must be very reliant on the executable being exactly the same.

Point is, I don't think it's a very easy game to crack, and not because of the disk protection per se. Razor probably just ran it thru a generic securom stripper, repacked the ISO and ran it without testing it. Razor needs to stop fucking up.

Just buy the fucking thing if you can't wait a few days for your free game. Small companies like IO should be supported with your money. The demo is full featured and functional if you need to "just try it out" so badly.
