what's with the shadows in this game? i tried turning them on and off and the end result was no shadows. and it resest to LOW every time i enter the configuration menu. weird bu, i must say.

the other crappy thing is that turning anti-alias on makes the game all smooth and fuzzy, but renders the text almost impossible to read.

love the snipers tho.

the game oozes atmosphere... a retired hitman donates his entire fortune to the church, works as a gardener. sweet dude, sweet. now if he could just shut his mouth and waste more time on killing than on bragging - this could be a kick-ass idea for a movie.

Well I havent tried it yet. I saw a review on tv and the graphics looked disappointing. Maybe the gameplay will make up for it. Right now Im addicted to Burnout 2 on the Ps2. Il try Hitman is a few days. I have a Radeon 7200 by the way. Lets hope it wont crash too much

Ive got a TNT 2 and win 98 and the game crashes when it starts.. just a black screen and then a crash.. i hope its my vid card but anyone else had the same prob?

another problem here... when i shoot a gun e.g. it hardly ever makes a sound, and when it does it's waay too late

i have disabled EAX (hell, i can't even enable it) and i updated all my drivers :S anyone knowz what it might be??

other then that the game totally ownz and i wanna thank flt for bringing the right crack

Hey,

Had the problem when saving a game it would crash back to the desktop.
Found the solution on another messageboard:

Go into dxdiag and set the Hardware sound acceleration one step back.

Now working perfectly, hope this helps for anyone having the same problems

2 things..

theres NO jump in the game? and default gamma is hella dark, well atleast for me it is. i had to bump it to 1.40 to see things clearly. im using the 40.72 driver

any ideas??

You can edit that in your hitman.ini. I've put it to "Mousespeed=7.50000". Sometimes it seems to reset during playing while you try to change something in your Controls. So keep an eye out that you config your controls before you start playing. That doesn't happen when changing sth. in your graphic options during gameplay.
But the problem here which I discovered is that Texture Compression or Environmental Bumpmapping seem to disable themselves every time I start the game.

But in spite of that everything works fine here w/out crashes (WinXP, Athlon 1800XP, GF Ti4600, Omega drivers, SB Live Player 1024).

It's not realistic to be able to jump 2 feets into the air!...

disable sound acceleration in dxdiag and disable hardware t&l in config.exe

i have the flt release and it just crashes when i click on the exec. kinda sucks, cus it happened with the demo too, cant even fuckin play it!

Ok then is seems like lots of others are getting the illegal operation. I doubt its Fairlights fault so im guessing there will probably be a patch that fixes this.

It might be a sound problem. , but all the other new games work just fine so i cant see sound being the problem.

I,ve got this problem with the sound When im fiering a shot the shooting sound comes 2 sec after the shot. And when people speak they lagg to, and they are repeating some words so it dosnt match the text (it isnt a big problem just to notice if others got the same problem) , and im asking if someone of you guys know what I could do to solv this problem?

-Please, serious comments.

-I'm using Razor bin file and flt crack , WinXP and I have Platium 5 sound card.

Great game.

Try lowering your "Hardware Acceleration" in your sound-settings. I had trouble with starting the demo back then, when I used that trick it helped.
I don't know if it'll help, but it's worth a try. Please report back if it does

And by the way, some people are just stupid. Not ALL games is about graphics, jesus guys cmon. The gameplay is so *bleeping* cool, can't se why anyone can't love this game, except if they can't stand a little challenge. *hint*

Not that it's the same game, but might help none-the-less. Following link details solutions to problems with UT2k3. What I find funny about the troubleshooting guide is this:

"VIA chipsets in combination with NVIDIA cards and AMD CPUs seem to be a constant source of trouble."

So...don't buy an nVidia card if you have a VIA chipset mobo? What the hell other reliable choice do you have if you want to be an outsider and not support Intel?
