Anyone have any problems switching bump mapping on? everytime I try to switch it on I notice it defaults back to off when I check it again. I currently have a geforce 4 4200 w/40.71 drivers & WinXP, and I have the game running with 2x AntiAliasing and 2x Anisotropic filtering.
Hm..I have an odd problem. The game runs fine with nocd crack/fix exe. The only thing is that the mouse look is really slow sometimes (it's like the game is loading something) then it goes back to normal, then back to slow mouse. I tried setting the mouse sensitivity to 7.5 and it's still like that. I tried sound hardware fix and it doesn't help.
Another weird thing is that I played fine without a glich the night before when I updated my drivers, then I went to sleep and that problem happened to me this morning.
Any answer would help.

I'm on the first level, and every now and then all the guys turn completely black, you can't see their faces they're just all black. Is this because of anti-aliasing or what?
I got a small problem...
After playing for... maybe 30 minutes, the game crash with a DrWatson error (Windows2000)
any idea what is the problem ? first time it was on the tutorial and second time was after 20 minute or so in the first mission
Help! Don't know how to select the action I want out of the possible actions on scren
I have tried everything, but when it gives me 3 or 4 possible actions (pick up flowers, drag body, change clothes), I don't know what to press to scroll through these options. I always have to hit E and can only do the 1st listed action, like change clothes, then it changes clothes back when I hit E again, Arggghh!
I'm sure it's a simple solution and I'm an idiot, but please take pity on an idiot and help me!! Thanks in advance!

OK people.. I have tried everything in the above thread for the crash to desktop problem.
It crashes at the same point every time.. ( i have it saved right before)
It crashes to desktop right after the little movie of you and the prisoner that you rescue in the basement escaping through the sewer.
I have tried...
-Updating nvidia drivers to the latest
-gimpsRus no/cd
-disable eax
-direct3d changed to openGL
-lowered and tried every notch in dxdiag
-windowed and non windowed mode
-EaxDisable in ini file
ANY OTHER BRIGHT IDEAS???? PLEASE HELP, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE NEXT LEVEL.

have u tried replaying the entire level again? if
it crashes at the same spot then your save is probably
fux0red. that or your cd was corrupt when u burned it,
but i doubt that

I have heard rumors of 30 and 20..but whats the actual number? Pretty darn hard in fact to fetch this info from web!
what kind of information is stored in a save game that could be a factor in the crashing problem? anyone know? I will try to play the level over just to rule another thing out but i am curious what in a save game file could possibly do this..
