    NEC 991SB enuff said

the NEC runs off the dynatron tube which for those who dont know is similar to sonys trinitron. This means nice crisp picutre. But to make a good thing better NEC has applied there own patented coating to the screen to increase brightness without making it look washed out.

This monitor retails for around 500cdn so its not cheap
however you will get what you paid for. Ive seen this side by side with everything from NEC's 97f(Cheaper model) to samsungs 955 and even Sony's e240(also a few smaller brands, cicero, proview, etc). You will be happy with it

Yeah, but it is 500 $. Damn that is a lot for a monitor. Maybe it is better to invest that money in a video card.
