What will war w/ Iraq do to gas prices?
this is the major concern that's bothering me. im turning 16 in a month and im gonna get to drive. taht also comes with me paying for gas and insurance. if we go to war with iraq, how much will the gas prices go up. anybody know of any statistics or anything like that about this? this is probably the biggest thing most kids can relate to about this war. thanks for any info

of course i can, but as far as most kids immediate concern, as far as i can tell in school right now, its people complaining about gas prices. and ill admit it myself, its selfish, but its still important. everybodys gotta drive.

hmmm, well since there is no indication that iraq has nuclear weapons i assumed he was referring to a country with the capability on the brink of war.
i dont know why someone would give him shit for asking this question, he has more of an idea what this war is about than anyone else on this board.

And do you think invading and blowing up shit in the middle east is going to make the terrorists groups stop or get larger? iraq does have shitload of oils. And if iraq comes under US control, gas price will of course go down.

i dont think gas prices will change much unless other middle eastern countries turn on us. if they do im sure bush will jump at the chance to drill in alaska and other places. they should go down after the war is over..you know, three weeks =)
