yeh u might be right about team names and player names, but burning slower does fix commentry problem.

the commentary on pes games has always been crap,they don't even say names just"he does this" "he does that".
What makes me think this MAY be a beta is when you score and your man celebrates by sliding on the floor his team mates jump on him dissapear then one by one reappear..still it is better than we6 in the same way we6 was better than pes(very slight changes but for the better).

if you read some of all thoes Previews about PES2 you would know that Konami do not have the License for any teams... Like the unknown club Arsenal is London etc.

Think what the prob here is that everyone is too used to playing the English patched Winning 11 6 (which has all correct player names et...)
But if u go back to pro evo 1 on ps2 u will remember that it did not have official names of players or teams either !

If ya go to Sound Options when you pause the game you can switch Player Names on so the commentators say their names. Dunno if you knew it already tho. Fuk knows why its turned off on Default?!
hehe forgot about that from pes.....oh if you win the konami cup (possibly with a club side) you can edit the team name said by the commentary so liverpool will actually be liverpool.

No infighting, the game plays great and if it is the full version numerous patches will be out soon.
If it isnt then thats a bonus.
Apparently, burning images slowly on decent CD-R media makes it easier for the ps2 to read the disc.
Ive noticed better loading times for games when I burn them at 4x.
The trouble is in my oppinion that it doesn't seem to play great after a couple of hours. I think it's a little too frantic. And the players ability to control the ball has deminished. It seem to bounce away alot even with the better players. Also dont you think there are just a few too many wild deflections and bobbles.Originally posted by ykrej

I think WE6 had the balance wich was the main thing. Every game I have had has been end to end football where as on WE6 some of the games where tight and tactical. Oh well we will know next week if its the same.
However I have read somewhere that someone has looked at the files or something on the KALISTO released and said something about the game files not being altered since August. Seems unlikely if its the final version to finish the game completly and hold it back for 3 months without changing anything

And for those who thinks this is a beta because Liverpool FC is "Europort" in the game should know that it's the way it is, all clubteams have even more weirder and non-logical names than in PES.

about the Dutch names,
in the option menu you u can load the option file of PES.
If you do that you will have all the dutch names correct
Sorry but your totally wrong I have all editions and PES 2 doesnt play like JWE6 or the normal WE6. Firstly the stats are totally differnt because of the Jap players and they cant blast balls accuratley all the time like PES 2. Also on WE6 or JWE6 on the hardest setting I cant remember ever beating 4 players on a regular basis. And WE6FE will be totally different to PES2 as it uses a different engine.
