go get the dittie importer for nhl 2003 and use that to change your mp3 to an asf. i renamed it to track0.asf but i dont know if its nesesary but you should do it just to be sure. i still want to know why ea doesnt just use mp3 for everything.
ok, this game is pretty much good for an NFS series ... but same as everyone has complained the stupid helicopter dropping that shit all over the road is gay as hell.
Well the more I play the more I like the game and hate the helicopter

1. helicopter = kiddie crap
2. cops have slightly faster cars then player
3. enabling EAX slows the game for me notably (Audigy)
4. gas/brake pedals on my Logitech Formula Force GP seems to work only in digital mode, not analog
Hopefully you can turn off the helicopter, or else.. well its a kewl game , ARCADE game...
The idea about turning off the cops and then not have the helicopters sux, the cops are supposed to be in the game, but im very dissapointed with the cops in the demo, in the original game you atleast get caught once or twice, and like everyone else is saying, "where the fuck are the spikes!?"
Those were like the kewl part, especially when u played split screen with ur friends, and u layed out a spike mat and then watched them run right into hit :-) made me have some good laughs,
but then the spikes will probably be in the FULL version :-)

according to a friend who has either Xbox or ps2 not sure , the full game has SPIKES & ROAD BLOCKS.... i even saw somewhere on a game site that spikes was mentioned for the full game on pc. But not so sure about road blocks.

I drove arround just for fun like a maniac with the 911, and i got a lot of damage on the car, (i hit loads of cops and stupid barrels etc)
The hood popped open and the trunk aswell, and some other damages, never got that before, dunno if it mathered that i played in 800 / 600 resolution this time (to be able to play it on the TV) but i atleast got some damage on the car

impo they have taken a backward step with this title. It handles and looks poor and runs appauling to match.
Also it only support upto 1280x1024 which is pretty lame considering previous versions of the nfs range supported upto 1600x1200.
Overall im very disappointed but it is a demo.. hopefully the final will be of better quality.. i aint holding my breath tho.
If you want to see something that looks really bad, let the cops catch you. You can count the number of polygons the cops (and yourself) using your fingers. Also, their attempts at humor turn into crap...
