I own a 98 Skyline GTR-R34 .. Im obsessed with speed and fast cars, thats why Im ticked off the EA didnt include a Skyline .. I hope they burn in hell.

I don't think sims are boring at all, in fact I find arcade racers the most boring due to their lack of even semi-realistic handling. After trying Rally Trophy (driver view) I could not go back to Colin McRae 2 or any of the other rally/driving games I had tried in the past (and liked a lot) without yawning. Not to say that Rally Trophy is the last word in handling or anything, but it had me hooked.

I guess it's different strokes for different folks. I am still waiting for a sim that has both arcadeish and sim handling user-selectable so both markets can be satisfied.

BTW, the game runs choppy on my comp, even with the lowest graphicsettings!

i've got a p3 900, geforce 3 ti500, 512mb of ram, all settings maxed out and it's perfectly smooth, not even the least choopy

I agree. Idiots who can't configure their computers should stick with consoles. The game runs fine.

so true, most games run absolutely perfect on 1ghz, gf3 and above.. Even slower computers is able to run most games if you just lower the settings a bit..
If not, your computer/OS is configured wrong. Ask someone who knows a little about computers for help!

Buddy, you've got some serious issues with your PC, cos the game runs remarkably well on my machine - which I might add is considerably less powerful than yours.

I play the game at 1024X768@32Bit with the default car, and world settings, 'cept for Special Effects which are bumped down a notch - I do this as there is a bug with full special effects and Radeon 8500 cards.
