it is impressive because everyone can just go buy a car, but modifing it is almost art....

i get sick and tired of seeing the EXACT fuckin civics driven, but whne you spot a nice one with a kit and a spoiler (yea aluminum spoilers are gay) and maybe even some decals it stands out....

If you think those cars just look good then your an idiot. So what most of them are 4 cylinder, they can easily beat any stock car on the road including ferari's etc. They have performance everyting with turbos and nos, most prolly can only push at most 400hp but with such a small and lightweight car that means they go hella fast.

if they only had JDM cars, then they would show everyone the true power of the cars. Stickers, body kits, wings, neon lights, etc. wont make the car fast..

OMFG, they fucked up the cars again.

Why must they put all that bullshit stickers and graphics to make them cars "look nice"? Just a nice paint job, bodykit, rims, fast engine (not all fucking NOSed up) will get the job done. I mean, who the fuck would actually race these things? Ah well, lets hope they get a much better storyline this time. Even tho I kinda hated the first movie(10 sec 1/4 street Eclipse??) for exaggeration, I liked it cuz it shows import culture to the world. But they just messed it up by showing cars with fucked up graphics and bad storyline. Lets hope they at least get the storyline right this time.

BTW, whats wrong with neon lites? I dig them

I heard Mitsubishi actually paid them big bucks to put a bunch of their cars in the movie. Expect several Evolutions and Eclipses.
I don't know why some of you are always so negative. While I do agree that some of those paintjobs look ugly as hell, I also believe that moding cars is an expression of art and people have the freedom to do what they want to their property.
I bet most of you who are calling these guys "ricers" are dying to see the movie but will never admit it, which is pretty childish. If I think a movie sucks, I don't watch it. I don't download it. I don't care.
Most of those cars are highly tuned for racing and when I say racing, I don't mean a moron putting a car on "D" and stepping on the gas on a straight line. I mean real racing with turns where all those monster trucks would flip and most american sportscars would fly straight into the sidewalls because they can't turn for shit.
No, I am not a ricer. I can't afford to be one. I have a brand new car and I don't wanna void it's warranty or lower it's value but I enjoy seeing other people's cars and what they do to them. Sometimes I think they are cool, sometimes ridiculous but what's up with the "I hate ricers" deal?
