Problems flashing matrix mod

Can someone that has successfully flashed this mod tell me what pc/os/parallel port settings they used. i can't get the damn thing to recognize the device. i have a red LED on it so i know the connection is good. i have the ntiosupp.dll dld and it says it installs the nt i/o port management successfully but i get a device not supported error when trying to flash.

I had the same problem.

Try connecting the programmer directly into the printer port on the computer. Don't use a cable.

I had the red light as well, and tried it on 5 different computers before i figured out that my cable didn't wanna work. Hope this helps.
