Default HDD swap first xbox ok,second bad

    Hi
I've chipped my xbox (PAL BIOS V1) with an Xecuter, didn't flash the bios and did a HD swap. Now I got 40GO on my xbox with evoX installed ,very good.
A mate went home, brought his PAL BIOS V1, I did excatly the same procedure ,and I couldnt swap the HD (tried many ones).
I thought we have to lock the new HD with the original key.I did this and now ,I got error 6 instead of error 5. SH*T !!!
    Can anyone explain me ?

    salutations

    Default

    Hi,

I tried it also on a 1.0 pal machine. I used the utility NewHDevox1.2.

This utility formats the Harddisk, and puts Evox on it. Of course you have to boot from CD or DVD for this to work.

    It's fast, easy.

    Hope this helps...

    Raymond
