    And it ain't exactly helpful.

But to be honest..For 99 quid..I'm mightyly impressed.
MP3, CD, CDRW, CDR, JPG, DVD all OK... Not tried DVD-R yet.

There's no screen? Sounds like a con calling it 'portable'.

Saw this in a newspaper ad last week. Not a bad price if you need to keep moving your DVD player around. Doubt the quality is up to much though.

I have a Sony portable DVD player which has no screen. Bought it in New York on a shopping spree. Plays just about everything except SVCD - oh and it costs a fortune to de-regionalise.

The good thing about the no-screen ones is that you can use them as portable CD players too.. Although to be honest these days I'd prefer an iPod or similar.. MP3 is the way forward not clunky CDs

Still a good buy for teenagers for xmas methinks
