Hey everyone.. i'm fairly new to the xbox i jus bought it the other day.. and i really wanna get VCD's to work on it.. and i'm kinda clueles about modding the xbox.. any help and information would be really appreciative... thanks in advance

Have a look at http://www.xbox-scene.com/modchips.php and find one that suits your needs. For VCD I belive the media player will play them. (Once your box is modded of course.)
Try Gentoo, the linux source distro...
