    studio+mixing

    what like peeps ?
    im making a music studio in my room need some decent mixing progs can anyone help me ? need to know where i can get them from as well

    If you want to create music then you need a f'kin good sound card and a copy of either cubase or logic audio

    not true!, you can get some wicked results from a standard sound card if it's supports full duplex that is,

    theres loadsa progs out there but it depends on the type of tunes you wanna do.

    n-track by fasoft is an excellent multitracker,with a good easy to learn interface,

    Cool edit pro is another top one,both these are particularly fine for recording external instruments(guitas and vocals),

    cubase vst is very good but if your new it'll cause you problems to start with as it's not as user friendly.

    Fruityloops is a top bit of kit for creating techno,dance,trance chill out tunes or any other computer based music,it's also a good prog to combine with any of the above,

    taureg, a drum sequencer similar to fruity loops,handy for just knockin out the beats.

    cheers peeps ill have a look for some of them progs . im wanting one for dance cause i have cubase already
