I've got an orange nokia 8310. The problem i've got is it keeps switching itself off. This is my second 8310 and has the same problem as my last one. Is this a common problem with this phone? When i contacted orange they sent a test to the phone and said there's a problem. Hopefully when i get the new phone it will be 3rd time lucky.

Was pretty common with the older versions, but seemed to have been sorted after v4.53.
What software versions you all using? May even be a hardware fault.

my first one was version 5.15 I think and then the next one was 5.54 version.My new which come today is 5.80 version. Hopefully no problems with this one.

my 3310 has recently started doing the same thing, i could have 3 power bar and a minute or so into a call it'll die, then, when i switch it back on it still has 3 power bars!
UPDATE!
After 4 days with this phone guess what it crashed! Had another replacement, hope this works better and cannot wait for my contract to finish so I can say goodbye to this crap phone!
