Permanently Mounting Folders on Desktop?

was wondering if one can create a folder on the desktop and then NOT have it move? What I mean is that I use the right click-->arrange icons by-->type function to organize my desktop all the time. However, there is one folder that I do NOT want moved and want it permanently under my recycle bin, while all other icons sort themselves by type. (NOTE: When one sorts by type, there is a secondary sort rule with sorts alphabetically.) Clearly windows does this on its own becuase the "my computer" and the "recycle bin" icons do not move when I sort the desktops icons. Any insights please?

ok set the arrange icons to nothing, i/e no ticks anywhere. move ur folders etc to where u want them then tick on auto arrange, hopefully this should do the trick !!!!
