THESE are the dramatic dying moments of EastEnders heart-throb Jamie Mitchell.

He bows out in some of the most emotional scenes the soap has ever shown.

Insiders predict that during this week's episodes fans will be left as devastated as his heart-broken girlfriend Sonia Jackson.

Played by Natalie Cassidy, Sonia rushes to the hospital after hearing that Jamie (Jack Ryder) has been hit by a car. She can only look on helplessly and pray as doctors battle to save him.

But realising that Jamie is fading fast, Sonia tenderly kisses him farewell for the last time. Then, overcome with emotion, she breaks down in floods of tears as hospital staff officially pronounce him dead.

A source said: "This storyline is so powerful that viewers will definitely be crying along with poor Sonia.

"There are some fantastic performances and no real fan will want to miss this."

As previously revealed in The People, Jamie is run down by banned driver Martin Fowler (James Alexandrou) while on his way to propose to Sonia.

When Jack Ryder, 20, who is married to former Hear'Say singer Kym Marsh, announced he was quitting the soap for a film career, bosses promised him a sensational send off.

Jamie did my head in anyway, even though his acting weren't too bad the last few days, but that's prolly cuz he was nearly dead ...
& I saw Sonia over Lakeside Shopping Centre, & she's even uglier than what she is on TV. You could land a plane on her arse, it's so BIG...

since it was so dramatic, how about one big blowout ending where they kill the entire cast in some kind of tragic trapeez incident.. now that id tune in for!
