    Hi,

I think you'll find that you must top it up by credit/debit card afterwards. Not normal top up card/swipe card.

    Regards

I would steer clear of Mobile Republic. There customer sevice is an absolute joke. I once had a sim from then advertised as free and had 4 months of money took from my credit card and was threatened twice with legal action for a sim I never even had ( I returned it on the 7th day of the 14 day cooling off period)

All in all it cost me a lot of money telephoning them , the debt collectors and o2 to try resolve the matter that they should have sorted in 2 weeks but lasted 4 months.

Credit card companies won't do that, that's why they're so quick to accept them for repeat payments. Insist on direct debit, if they won't take that ask yourself why. You can take them to court but you'd have to prove that they had done something illegal and in the meantime...... you keep paying. You could "lose" your credit card then you get a new number meaning existing agreements won't be paid. remember to renew any payments that you want to keep though.
