rigging a 3310/3410

my kids ave one of these a piece..................however, the eldest with the 3410 did a tenner in less than 24 hrs, ringing everybody and their dog. My question is this................

"is it possible to rig the phone so it can only dial numbers i allow it to????????"

this would save me a fortune and i wouldn't end up grounding them both for weeks & weeks.

i think u can bar the phone to all calls, it will only allow calls that are made after a correct PIN is put in, there maybe a PIN1 and PIN2 option.......ring up the telco/look in the manual...

otherwise the phone will just display enter pin (which will be required for the phone to make a call) have a look in the manual...

Use the "fixed dialling" option in the Security menu, it allows you to setup a list of numbers which may be called, and no others. You will need the PIN2 code for this which u can get from ur service provider, if u dont already have it.
