Correct connector?

Hi, just got a new stereo for xmas and have a few queries about the wiring.
I have a 94' ford fiesta and i got a PC2-08-4 connector from halfords so I could plug the new head unit in.
Ive attached a pic here so u can see what im worried about. On the black connector and the bottom there is no wire present on the 5th location from the right but on the ford connector at the top there is a brown/yellow wire which will therefore not be connected...is this ok? Oh and on the sony lead ive got ,it will let me switch the red and yellow power wires round, from looking at the connector it looks like i'l have to do that right?

Yes it's ok that the brown/yellow is not connected, As for the swapping of red and yellow wires. If the radio wont keep the radio channels in memory then you should swap these wires around.

If i remember right the yellow wire on the sony is for memory/battery+ this should be connected to the red wire of the ford harness.
