Mame cabinet

Figured this was the most relevant forum

Well decided to build one of these during the new year well hopefully within the next month

just wondered if anyone here had attempted one or something similar
intend to use 4 joysticks using a ipac so have two on the horizontal as well for those games

should be good hopefully will try rob a digital camera if/when i get it finished and take some pics for peeps

Once I get my new house with workshop I am planning to build an arcade cabinet. I'm going to rig it up so I can slot in my xbox and use that as a mame emulator.

I would like to know how you get on and the cost of the equipment required.

i have just finished the inside config i got hold of an jamma arcade machine and stuck a
amd xp 1400 mhz cpu
40 gig hd
dvd rom
soundblaster 128
moded ati radeon 7000
256 ddr memory
j-pac for jamma loom

runs very well about 3500 games in it

the j-pac and the moded ati radeon 7000 card i got it from
