media player 2.1 help plz

First of i got my a samsung drive that plays cdr but i put media player 2.1 on last night and cant play vcd/svcd media player just hangs and does nothing.
When i ftp the vcd to hard drive bobs your uncle it plays (very well )
so i thought thats ok il use boxplorer to copy vcd to hard drive but ooohhh no
i open up d: on xbox and NOWT nothin there
I thought that it might be the media so i burnt movie to cd-rw and still nowt showin up on d:
I know the cd-rw works fine cause thats what i booted evo-x up with.
Can someone tell me whats goin on or how to sort this out

I've encountered some troubles like this.

Did you burn your disk using Prassi or any UDF software ?

Have you tried to make a Xbox ISO first using IsoMaker1.21 ?

IsoMaker1.21 solve me a lot of troubles with big files instead of Prassi and UDF.

But that's very odd.. I don't know where the problem is coming, the new version of the MP or the new chip I installed (previously got a Xtender now got a Matrix)

IsoMaker1.21 solve me a lot of troubles with big files instead of Prassi and UDF.
ive got mp2.1 and boxplorer on my h/d so no need to make iso as i ftp them to the xbox
