    Burned CD's

Ok, this has most likely been answered ten or twenty times throughout this forum, yet I still haven't read a definative answer. FIRST! Is there anyway to get my CD-R's onto my X-Box without cracking the hood? SECOND! If I have to crack the hood, is there a method to which I can be assured it will not destroy it as I am not rich, but my box if very important to me and my friends so if it goes down, replacement would take while.
By CD-R I mean music recorded onto CDr's. I have a lot of burnt CD's and I want to race and skate to them yet my X-Box refuses to accept them or regognize them.

No quiet sure what you are asking here - a way to get your CDr's onto the Xbox ?

If you talking about "backup" of originals then the answer is that
there is absolutly no way you can get this to happen without chipping the box - none at this time.

To answer the other question the safest methods to get it chipped is to either get a pro to do it or buy a chip that doest require any solidering but rememeber there is NO completely safe 100% method - modding is wandering off the safe path and doing your own thing.

By the way CDR's generally dont work it has to be CDRW's and to be honest a lot of game wont fit on them so DVDR's are the way forward (or a bigger HD in the xbox)

    Cheers

totally agree with Iron mans post above. Just wanted to add to what he was saying if a game is cd sized (assuming that you have modded your box and you have a pc and you have put a dshboard on) then get a crossover cable and if there is room on your xbox hd then put the cd sized game onto yourxbox HD.

This will make playing the game more enjoyable. There is plenty of tutorials on how to do this if you search around.

Luckily my xbox plays ALL cdr I have tried, and believe me I`ve tried some shitty brands as well as decent ones....

Guess I`m lucky, but the short answer is just try mate, you won`t know until you do that...
