Default USB PCMCIA Card for IBM Thinkpad

I bought an IBM Thinkpad 380ED Pentium 166 MHz off eBay to run Con@x. It's a little gem.

Although it's not a PII it has 32 bit bus type2 PCMCIA slots (according to the spec I downloaded from the IBM website. It obviously has no USB so I was wondering if I could fit a USB PCMCIA card. The adds I've seen are mostly for USB2 Cardbus and say that the min spec PC is 32 bit bus and 233MHz processor.

Can anyone advise if one will work and iff so the particular type, ie: USB1 or USB2.
