    is the Zues Multiprogrammer off incredible-devices a 3.68 Mhz Version?
    they say they can replace it with the 3.68 and the total cost of the programmer will be £20 instead of £17

    daubs8 - it's Zeus not Zues, and yes it works fine, it has a hardware Phoenix mode, not emulated like some other programmers. There are lots of people out there using it with that software.

    Incredible Devices are fine if you don't mind waiting like 3 weeks for your order. cheap is not always best.

    i needed one, i tried them out, received pretty quickly, set jumpers, used suggested power pack @ 12v unregulated, 300 ma, opened nagraedit3, it gets to attempting to log in to bd3 and fails. every time. so what is wrong? me or the progger? sorry to sound offhanded, but after reading the recomendations on this and other forums, i went and bought one from data interfaces, £34.99. result? zilch. state of mind? p*ssed off.

    @borrowasboy

    I had the same problem so I tried my 12v 300mA regulated supply that I used for my Elvis (switched polarity and voltage) and I managed to read, write and backup my card. It definately seems like a problem with the psu.

    Hope this helps

    do you think my voltage is too high or too low then. don't want to go out and have to buy two power packs. thanx for your help anyway.

    Hi M8

    To be honest I'm not that sure, according to most post it seems that a 12V unregulated supply is best, but I had more success with my regulated supply (12v, 300mA). They are about a fiver from Argos and it's the one with switchable voltage and polarity.

    It may be worth investing in one or see if any of your m8's have different ones to you and give them a go.

    Sorry I can't be more specific but it all seems a bit hit and miss with the type of psu you use.

    moggy, the simple answer is, i don't know. i ordered a 3.68, i was told by dick-interfaces that it was a 3.68. but from what i've been told and what i've just been reading on the shack it could well be the 3.58. what's the difference?
    on another note, has anyone noticed the ad for zeus from dick-interfaces now has 3.68 model withdrawn for legal reasons? hmm
