now you can choose free internet or free digital tv with basic package for a YEAR and free connection.
if you only want free internet choose free internet.
But if you want a FREE digibox with FREE channels then choose the free digital.
BUT if you want both (which I think you will) then choose the free digital tv, then read on

How to get the internet free(off peak,not tested on NTL, works 100% bt)

Before i got broadband I was using bt line with the free local/national off peak calls.
I was using normal 0845 number when i thought "i've got free national calls" so I set about finding some GEOGRAPHICAL dial ups, first one I found was an 0207 number for virgin, then i found some more (lost on hdd format sorry).problem was that you had to cut off every 60 mins as the free calls get charged after that, NTL also impose a charge after 60 mins,but hey free is free and you get 14 hours a day of free access.
I'm sure you can find some software to cut off/reconnect every 60 mins if you wanted to download etc, set it up b4 you go to bed and your away, plus the missus can't moan at you for hogging the telephone line.(instead you'll probably get greef for staying up all nite!!!, then again she woon't mind coz she'll be up all night watchin shite on the pace you got for a tenner last march JUST INCASE )
As i say I aint tested it on ntl but I can't see why not, It says on the web site
"Calls to Internet Service Providers, mobiles, international and non-geographic numbers are excluded and will be charged at our standard 3-2-1 rates. "
BT says that too but i got several THOUSAND hours free access

The NTL offer for an Xbox is a bit of a strange one. In the small print it says that you have to stay with them for 36 Months!!!!!!!!
