    Default Final Destination 2

I didn't even hear that a sequal to the brilliant Final Destination was in the works let alone "released". So when I heard about it, I just had to watch it

Well what can I say, if you liked the 1st film you will definitely love this one. One of the first scenes in the film is a massive pileup on a highway. It HAS to be seen to believed, one of the best car crash/pile up scenes ever in a movie IMO.

There's a number of very gory endings to the cast, although the latter part of the film speeds up too much for my liking and it seems kinda rushed, but don't let that put you off. BUT if you hated the first with a passion, this is more of the same so you should stay away from it....

Overall, a great film, definitely worth going to the cinema to see when its out (not sure when?)

    8/10

Oscar season's about done now mate - probably loads of TS' & Cams' for the next ten months now with the odd screeners... As they say, beggars can't be choosers..... Even the shit bootlegs of today are better than some of the good releases from seven or eight years ago.. Kids of today are just being spoilt by DVD!!!

As for FD2, still wish they didn't kill the top quality blonde bird at the start of this one though..

Supposedly number three's on the way..

    WTF!

Dude, chill - no need for that - as I say, apart from Oscar season how often do you get a DVD screener of a film 10 days after it's release - not very often.... At least not last year when the flood suddenly stopped and everyone was grateful to get a decent screener copy quite a while after the initial TS / CAM...

Same thing every year except the copies get better

Just ****s me off when some people start whinging because they don't get their DVD screeners immediately and because they don't like a shitty cam / TS that has been released either pre release date or within 48 hours of release.

I mean, some examples outside of awards season:

    Minority Report:
    Intial release: 22/6/2002
    Screener: 20/9/2002
    DVD Scr: 24/9/2002

    Bourne Identity:
    Initial release: 12/6/2002
    Screener: 6/9/2002
    DVD Scr: 2/11/2002

    Spiderman:
    Initial release: 3/5/2002
    Screener: 25/5/2002
    DVD Scr: 3/9/2002

Yep DVD Screeners are still there - but not as quick as they are coming at the moment - that's what I'm getting at.

Did anyone else find this movie humorous? I laughed through just about the whole thing.

And that girl, AJ Cook. She's cute!

well i went in to see this with absoulutely no pre-conceptions whatsoever as i dint know wtf it was about and i missed the original.. but bugger me, i was shocked, i thorougly enjoyed the whole thing, thot it was cleverly put to gether, with some extremely good effects and huge amounts of gore.. christ i thot ghost ship was bad.. (heh plus it has the bloke who played candyman genius)

also i loved the actual story.. pretty clever.. specially the end.. saw it coming, but it wasnt what id expected lol..

Just watched it last night Gore, Gore, Gore. Excellent film. It beats Ghost ship easily.
Can't decide which I like best, (story wise)1 or 2? I wonder if it will have a choice of endings like the first one when it is released on dvd?
