cpu settings
Have a Asus a7v8x with a XP2100 chip and 512DDR 2700 memory what are the best setting for this in the bios as my benchmarks seem pretty low

Well for starters you're seriously underclocking your CPU, you should be running the FSB at 133 to get the proper speed out of it.
that i know but i dont know how to do it whenever i have tried i have had to reset the cmos as the machine will not boot

What speed of memory are you running?. If you increase the FSB speed, check that the memory is running synchronously with the FSB (i.e. it's not adding another 33 onto the speed). You might also try dropping the AGP to 2x (won't affect performance).
