Shit, hadn't heard that but see what you mean it was on the BBC Gossip page - he's on nearly �80k a week so it would be interesting to see if any premiership club would pay that what with the prices starting to fall lately due to money problems...

they are doing crap in euro bottom of the group, if they dnt make the finals then i think real well shorten there squad, the chairman will sell one of his top players otherwise they would end up in debt like they did before.
its gosspi now but it could happen lata on, lets hope he comes to man utd!!!

LOL, what r u talking about? Raul joined Real Madrid from Athletico's youth side. They paid nothing for him.

Raul will never leaver Real - he is their captain and about the closest they have to a home grown player (even if he did come form their rivals).

I was watching an interview with him on Saturday, he said he had no plans 2 leave Real Madrid, but if he did he would like 2 join Manchester United.

if u heard the interview he gave on ITV on set for the TV advert, he said he wants to come to the premiership if he was allowed to go, adn manchester united is the club he would want to join, he didnt even mention anyone else. he basically said nowhere else appealed to him. And yes the papers did make out leeds were gonna sign THE raul, but when u read the article it was infact raul bravo, bag o s**t defender. Anyway this summer could see manchester united sign raul for big bucks, and its not like real could do without the money.

The Madrid forward has never hidden his admiration for Alex Ferguson and yesterday [Saturday] repeated it: �Ferguson is a great man and an absolute institution as a manager, that�s something I�ve got very clear. I ought to admit that I would love to have him as a coach�.

However, Raul reiterated that he doesn�t want to leave Real Madrid: �The point is I�m a Real Madrid player, but what is clear is that if I had to leave at the moment the only club that I would consider would be Manchester United�
