What help do you want exactly?
You could always try the search facility as well, this subject has been covered countless times before.
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

Does your ethernet modem have a built in router? If not then you won't ever get 2 PC's to share the connection the way you are trying to do it.

    So, lets start with:

    1. Who is your ISP?
    2. What make/model is your modem?

    P.S
Membersboard is another board quite similar to this one
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

Thats the same modem that I got from my ADSL supplier.

I just bought a ZyXel Prestige 304 router and it works a treat. The connection is shared between my Vaio laptop and my bird's ibook laptop.

Just plugged the thing into the modem, connected it to the computers and it worked straightaway.
