    Default AVG crashes PC

While visiting a few mp3 sites, AVG anti-virus ver 6.0, detected a trojan horse in one of my temp internet files. Whatever option I chose (heal, delete etc), it causes the screen to corrupt, leaving it blank with just a few coloured squares across the top.

This has happened 3 times now. I have looked on AVG's website but there are no reported issues of this happening.

    Anyone else had similar problems?

    Default trojan

I too am running this software, but mine detects it, and thats it.

Maybe you have a problem with it, try reinstalling it.

It sounds like a trojan seeker file, my F-Secure deletes them without problem - usually after I've visited a crack site

Well I uninstalled it, deleted the downloaded .EXE file & downloaded & installed it again. The same thing still happens

After restarting windows I always check to see if the trojan was removed or healed. Sometimes it is & sometimes it isn't.

    I think I will ditch AVG & get a proper anti-virus checker!
