Im thinking of buying a new anti-virus scanner at the weekend, could you give me an idea of which is the best to buy?
Cheers.

The best I've found myself is F-Secure Corporate. I'm using XP and it's never let me down so far in the last 2 years or so.

I've only ever used McAfee VirusScan and Norton AntiVirus but can safely say that NAV beats McAfee hands down.
Never used F-Secure so I can't comment!
Hope this helps,

I am also a fan of F-secure they update it all the tie and I've never had virus since I installed it
If it don't work hit it with a hammer, if it still don't work hit it with an axe
@ Major FU - Have you got the latest version = 5.41 ?
Nortons AV Corporate Edition 8 configured to MODIFIED (Scan on create). What this then means is that your AV will ONLY scan files that are NEW to your computer and NOT scan programs, pictures, mp3s...etc that you know 100% to be clean. Saves A LOT of system resources and clock cycles.
MOST peoples AV scans EVERYTHING each and EVERY time they use it, view it etc, NOT MINE it ONLY scans NEW files to my computer. Obviously ONLY select MODIFIED (Scan on create) AFTER you have done a LIVE-UPDATE and then a FULL system scan to confirm everything is clean and DOES NOT NEED TO BE SCANNED everytime you use it.

I use Norton but a while back I had a problem where something managed to get on to my system even though I constantly update my definitions. I Norton as good as others?
