    Default V4 Stealth Chip Announced

For those who dont want to pay for a new SP and would like to mod their existing console, or upgrade the previous Stealth or FAB chips.

    Here's the spec:

Flicker-Free (New for v4): The Stealth Dimmer synchronizes the Afterburner with the Gameboy's LCD for flicker-free operation in all games.

Hum-Free (New for v4): The Stealth Dimmer is the only chip available that does not introduce a humming noise into the headphone output of the Gameboy Advance when dimming.

Dimming: Hold down the select button. Now use A (brighter) or B (dimmer) to smoothly scroll through 75 levels of brightness.

Instant On/Off (New for v4!): To jump instantly to full-on or full-off, hold down the A (on) or B (off) button and then hit Select. A or B may also be held down during power-on to jump to full-on or full-off.

Lock Feature: If you want to lock the chip so that it doesn't respond to any button presses (for instance, if the game you are playing uses the Select + A or B combination), hold down the Select button for 4 seconds. The light will flash when the chip is locked. To unlock, press Select for 4 seconds again. The light will flash twice when the chip is unlocked.

Memory: The chip will remember your current dimmer and lock settings if you turn the Game Boy off or even if you remove the batteries.

Auto-Sleep: If the A, B, or Select button are not pressed for 5 minutes, the chip will shut off the Afterburner to conserve battery power. To turn the AB back on, simply press one of the 3 buttons. This feature can be disabled by holding Select + A + B down for 4 seconds. The chip will flash the AB to confirm.

Standby Sensing (New for v4): If the Gameboy is in standby mode, the chip will not go to sleep. This prevents you from having to wake the Gameboy up and then wake the Stealth Dimmer up. The Afterburner comes back on as soon as you exit standby mode.

Built-In Diagnostics (New for v4): Helps with installation and troubleshooting by blinking error-codes on the Afterburner whenever a connection problem is detected. If you turn on the Gameboy and 5 seconds later you receive an error code, then either a button is shorted or the SYNC wire is not connected properly. To test a button, hold it down and turn on the Gameboy. If it is functioning, the corresponding code will be displayed on the Afterburner after 5 seconds.

1 Flash = A button shorted or held down
2 Flashes = B button shorted or held down
3 Flashes = Select button shorted or held down
4 Flashes = SYNC wire not connected properly
