    £5 quid to enter ?

has anyone done a scam on the london £5 entry costs yet ? such as the anti flash numberplates or changing a letter on your plate till you get around the corner and does it mean moterbikes dont pay as they have their plates on the back and cannot be photographed from behind yet ? i think this charge is ridiculous and cannot be ignored. i dont live or go to london but it will soon be in every city and town around what do you all think ?????

    1. Anti-flash plates don't work
    2. Changing letters/numbers is fraud
    3. Motorcycles are exempt anyway

looks like Blair has a scam .

    BLAIR IS AUGHT IN ZONE

TONY BLAIR could be fined hundreds of pounds after falling foul of London's congestion charges.

The Prime Minister has incurred several £80 penalties on the family Ford Galaxy, which ferries his children around the city.

As a local resident he is able to avoid 90 per cent of the £5 charge but forgot to register the car.

A Number 10 spokes-man said: "This has now all been sorted out and if there are any fines to pay then the Prime Minister will pay them."

The bill will bring a smile to the face of arch-enemy Ken Livingstone, who the PM tried to stop becoming the capital's Mayor.

    Is it working?

    No

In the zone there are only taxis, vans and some private cars

Went into a few shops in the zone and asked them how they were doing.

Takings have droped off up to 50% during the week

I would not like to be a shop keeper

    Have Fun.

well it was an idealist policy of a communist mayor which has, as usual, ended up with the average London resident out of pocket

okay why dont you try this so you dont need to pay.

Go HERE and find one that is within the boundary charge area.

Take out an account with them, and then tell the DVLA you live there. Transfer your car to that addie. Now you will live within the zone, so you wont need to be paying your £5 a day.

I was told by some shops and Petrol stations that they were thinking of moving out of the Zone. I mean Petrol companies are feeling the pinch
